Genting highlands

I'm back from Genting. Oh man..i so don't wanna come back. School is starting next week and i'm only left with this last week to enjoy :(

But of course, i do miss someone back here :)

Went on a trip to Genting with my family, and my aunt's family. Stayed for 4 nights at Arwana resort which i think the resort was awesome. You can cook your own food, your own living room, own 2 bedroom with individual toilets and a small garden outside :) It's like at home.

The weather was quite bad on the first day. So foggy and cold, the temperature up on Genting was 16 degress. We spent our first day at Kuala lumpur for shopping.

Second day: up to genting. the skies much clearer now :)

Nodoby wanna accompany me to play the outdoor rides so i had no choice and played with Olivia those indoor rides which were such a small kick.

Aftermath, the Adults wanted to go Casino. So i'll be the babysitter for that time. Brought them to play bowling and do some shopping and then head back to meet them.

Olivia suddenly pop this question: "what's your favourite drink?"

ME:" Milo" (And i ask her back)

Olivia: " I love coca cola...and erm...One zero zero"

Me: " One zero zero?" with that retard face.Both my sis and i were like -_-.. i was thinking got this new drink meh? and then i realised it was 100 plus. haha

100= one zero zero.

The Cancer centre

There was this function held by TCC( The Cancer centre) today at Raffles where there's a talk given by this Doctor and you can get HPV vaccinations ( Cervarix® ) at $99 per dose. At the price of $99, it's considered very cheap compared to those general practioner at your neighbourhood or at a private hospital like Mount E. A dose outside costs about $200. There's in total of 3 jabs just like hep B.

The talk was about Cervical cancer and how it comes about. Halfway during the during the talk, i almost doze off , not because it was boring but because i've heard similiar talks like these before in my lectures. Except the fact that i didn't talk alot during this talk because it's just my Mom and sis.

So anyway, it was all about the awareness of Cervical cancer and to not lose your love ones to Cervical cancer as you can prevent it and equip yourself with the anti-bodies compared to other top cancers in Singapore. FYI, Cervical cancer is the 6th commonest cancer in Singapore and also the top 3rd cancer in Women.

The event was filled FULL with WOMEN, with some exceptions of a few men who accompanied their wifes/girlfriend. Met a few kiasu aunties pushing their butts, shoving their way right through me. By right the jab ranges for women from ages 10-25 in Singapore, in America it's 10-45 yrs old. So i don't know why they were there but i'm sure they were the ones queuing up for the jab.

Whatever it is, the turn out rate was over-whelming and seriously people like me that hate crowd will just suffocate and die there, almost did.

Whilst waiting for the jab, i realise one or two of their Nurses wasn't wearing gloves when administering the jab! Like o.m.g. It was a Intra-muscular injection somemore!!!!

Luckily the one jabbing me was wearing, if not i'll definitely question her. Haha, tsk tsk. Sometimes, when you are in the same profession, it sort of like remind you of the things you do in the hospital and also like to compare. It's call, a Human nature thing..haha

My dear March darling birthday.
Today was si hui's actualy day and we met up to celebrate :)
First stop: Jurong point, to get their cake at icing room which were well-decorated by US! :)

Second stop: Marina square for bowling! Like at least 10 years since i last bowl?

Third stop: Thai express for dinner :)

Next stop: Ministry of Food for desserts and cake!

Ok here goes, the most exciting part of the day was the GX5 xtreme swing! It was a moment of rush because while walking to clarke quay we were tempted just by looking at it and we were all so steady. The best thing of all,we had 'special discount' due to si hui's birthday :) and it was really worth it!!

Original rate was $30 for student and he slashed it to __ for us!! Hahah..

So we were preparing before the ride, going to the loo to relieve before you see our urine all flying out!!! :$

Jannie had to be the one to release the lever so to start the ball rolling. She had to keep her eyes open when we were being suspended through mid air. U're damn brave lo.

Just when she was about to release the lever, she ask us to open our eyes and i peeped a little and i know i couldnt do further because it was freaking scary but the view was nice. Then Claudia next to me kept screaming...

C:" Jamie i don't wanna play already!" I wanna go home..

Me: "Shut up claudia, u have to calm down. " ( because she was making me damn freakin nervous when i already was)

Lee SI HUI! u were brave today despite the 'psycho-ing'. Haha and i hope this will be your unforgettable birthday celebration to compensate you for last year!! I hope you guys enjoy today!!
